Emergency and law personnel are asking that you please stay off of the roads in tornado stricken areas. These areas are NOT safe. There are power lines down in Albertville. Please keep the roads clear so that Emergency workers can do their jobs and help people who have been hit by this storm system. |

Im praying that everyone makes it through safe and sound tonight! Please take precautions and stay home if at all possible. These storms have the potential of being REALLY bad! There are confirmed deaths in the wake of this system so please do not take this lightly! Take your precautions and make sure you have batteries for your weather radio! |

UPDATE: Feeds now include all of Alabama. It's that time of year again... time for bad weather. Unfortunately, as we all know, storms are a big part of life this time of year here in Alabama. I have just added live weather to the site to help keep you informed. These alerts are powered by NOAA and can be found at the bottom of the homepage of SMO whenever severe weather is in our area. Please be prepared when inclement weather is headed our way! |
